Braiden Sharum

The vice president of programming is responsible for the planning and execution of the chapter’s events and functions. He is the head of the programming committee and works to ensure his brothers have a balanced, values-based experience.

Braiden is a junior Business Management major from Fort Smith, Arkansas. He has been a member of SigEp since 2019. Braiden is currently the Vice President of the Interfraternity Counsel (IFC).  Braiden is also active in many intramural sports on campus. Braiden is currently serving in his first term as a member of the executive board.

Vice President of Finance

Michael Van Ness

The vice president of finance is the chapter’s chief financial officer. He is entrusted with managing the chapter’s budget and properly allocating financial resources.

Michael Van Ness is a junior from Van Buren, Arkansas, and is majoring in Business Management. Michael has been a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon since 2019. Michael is the current Vice President of Recruitment for the Interfraternity Council (IFC). This is Michael's first term on the Executive Board.

James Phommavongsa

The Vice President of Recruitment drives the quantity and quality of a chapter’s membership. By successfully recruiting the best men on campus, he ensures a great fraternity experience for his brothers and the long-term success of his chapter.

James Phommavongsa is a senior Mechanical Engineering major from Russellville, Arkansas. James is experiencing his second year on the executive board and has been actively recruiting even before his time formally in the position, this is his second time on the Executive Board since his joining in 2017. Before this position, James has served chapter as the Vice President of Programming. James is very involved in intramural sports on campus and very involved with the Russellville community.
