On the first day of February in 2019, Arkansas Epsilon’s 8 executive board members embarked on a trip to Dallas to take part in the annual CLA Conference. The Carlson Leadership Academy is a giant assembly of the executive boards and rising leaders from the various chapters that attended the conference in the corresponding district.
CLA provides an in-depth look at the operations of other chapters in different states and how they are fairing in their endeavors to be balanced men. With concise instruction, guidance, and advice from alumni volunteers, staff and headquarter employees students learn how to become better leaders within Sigma Phi Epsilon.
Our 8 brothers had a fantastic time and will take all of the new ideas and tools they picked up this weekend and insert them in place back at our base of operations in Russellville, Arkansas at Arkansas Tech.
Our brothers had a blast meeting members from other chapters, receiving awards, getting insight into other chapters and hanging with the boys. We are excited to attend future CLA’s and bring more and more members as our chapter increases in size and status.
The Executive Board looks forward to implementing our new standards for balance and excellence in our regular proceedings back at Tech. We are continuing to be innovative in our effort to sustain a legacy of greatness and elite excellence.
